Tier 8 News

Welcome to Tier 8.

Games will be played at St. Alphonsus School on Tuesday nights - game times 6:30 & 8:00.

Please wait outside the gym for the 8:00 pm games. Please allow the players from the 6:30 pm game to exit the gym before entering. 

All players must be registered and have signed insurance waivers before participating.

UNIFORM DEADLINE: October 31, 2025. Teams will be fined $25 with players not in uniform after the deadline.

All outdoor footwear is to be left in the entryway. This policy also applies to any spectators.

Please submit scoresheets within 48 hours of the match to tedkins99@gmail.com (Fines will be assessed for late scoresheets.)

Home Team Responsibilities:

  • Arrive early to set up net (must be set up at least 15 minutes prior to game time).
  • For the late matches, the home team takes down the net 
  • Provides the Scoresheet & game ball.

Submits scoresheet to Convenor within 48 hours (both front & back).

Teams can start and play with 5 players:

If a team only has 5 players at match start time, they will be allowed to start without penalty.  

  • If a 6th player arrives, they will join the rotation in the following set.
  • In the case of 5 players, 3 players will always be considered front row players.
  • The Ghost Player Rule will no longer be in effect

Please review all Substitution Rules in the Guidelines under SectionE.5 SUBSTITUTIONS and Section F – Match Procedures (F.1 Format & F.8 Substitutions)

Substitutes - please remember to clearly mark any sub (player name, registered team & tier).

HOME TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SETTING UP & TAKING DOWN NET. NET SHOULD BE SET UP AT LEAST 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO GAME START TIME.
